Constituted 15 August, 1825

Mariners Lodge is known for its dedication to ritual. It was founded in 1825 by sailors but, like many old lodges, has undergone numerous changes since then and now includes men of many professions among its members. It belongs to the First Manhattan District along with such venerable lodges as St. John's Lodge No.1, and Independent Royal Arch No. 2, both also noted for their devotion to the Craft and its works. Lodge meetings are conducted once per month, on the second Wednesday.
